Grab your passport and head to the airport because today your GO Schoolies adventure begins with your GO Schoolies Squad Leader. Wave goodbye to your friends and family and by evening you will be landing in Ho Chi Minh City, a city to excite the senses. Upon arrival, you will meet your local Squad Leader and transfer to your hotel. Check in, then settle in for a welcome dinner with your group at a local restaurant.

Start your day by setting off on foot to explore this fascinating city, which has a colourful history and is famous for its French architecture. You can explore the Notre Dame Cathedral, historic Post Office and wander around the People’s Park. Visit the bustling markets with their exotic smells, vibrant clothes and shoes, and even some deep-fried creepy crawlies. Game enough to try a few? Enjoy some relaxation time back at the hotel before an evening street food walking tour and take in the sights, sounds and tastes of Ho Chi Minh.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

Pack your bags, you’ve got a flight to catch. Head north to the Khan Hoa province and the gorgeous beach resort of Nha Trang, which feels a world away from hectic Ho Chi Minh City. Nha Trang is a stunning coastal town which stretches for approximately six kilometres. On arrival, visit Po Nagar Cham Tower, Long Sonn Pagoda and Dam market. For the next four days you’ll struggle to choose between swimming in the warm, tropical waters, exploring the local village or countless water sports, including snorkeling, kayaking and kite surfing. The afternoon is all yours!

All aboard for your three islands expedition. Cruise to the beautiful Robinson Beach for some morning kayaking or simply relax on one of the many swings or hammocks on the white sandy shore. Head to Hon Mun Island, one of the most beautiful islands in Nha Trang and home to 1500 species of coral and marine life. Spend some time snorkelling around the crystal-clear waters spotting many varieties of vibrant corals and fish. Last but not least, check out Hon Mieu Island and visit the Tri Nguyen Aquarium, a giant concrete fossil ship covered with moss! With an indoor and outdoor aquarium, you’ll be amazed by the variety of fish, squid, lobsters and even some 100kg sea turtles! Once you hit the shore again, it’s time to rejuvenate the body in a local mud bath. Ever been covered in mud from top to toe? Squish and squelch your way through the mud spa before heading back to the hotel with your new glowing skin! The rest of the days is all yours. You do you your way!

Let’s get zen! Every adventure needs at least one morning beach yoga session so it’s time to strike a warrior pose. Take your refreshed, peaceful outlook on life and get ready to smash your mates in a game or two of beach volleyball. Bring it on!

Next up, you are off to the happiest place in Vietnam – ‘Vinpearl Land’ – aka Vietnam’s answer to Disneyland! Travel to the park in style on the one of the world’s longest cable car at 3,320m in length and take in some spectacular scenery from above one of the most beautiful sea gulfs in the world. This amusement park is filled with outdoor and indoor rides and you can conquer a variety of exciting zones including Water Park Beach, Blooming Hill, Underwater World and so much more. This is one jam packed fun day!

As enticing as it is to stay in this paradise, there is a whole new city in the north awaiting you. Say goodbye to the beautiful beaches of Nha Trang and say hello to Hanoi, a city of contrast, coffee and the best pho noodle soup ever! Drop your bags off at the hotel and go for a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake to work up an appetite for dinner. With excellent people watching potential the peaceful lake is the perfect spot for locals to do some reading, jogging or even some yoga or Tai Chi.

We have an early start this morning for our road trip to the UNESCO World Heritage listed Ha Long Bay. When you arrive, board your own private junk (boat). No randoms on this cruise! This will be your home for an amazing overnight adventure. Highlights include the Cave of Surprise, swimming at Ti Top Beach and Trong Cave. Later tonight, warm up your vocal cords because it’s time to belt out your favorite karaoke classics.

Eat breakfast while overlooking the ever-changing striking beauty that is Ha Long Bay. Jump on board a small boat to visit Luon Cave, which is the only way to navigate through this impressive cave system. Before lunch, take all the Insta-worthy snaps you can, because afterwards we are heading back to Hanoi. Put on your walking shoes ready to explore the Old Quarter with its multitude of little shops in a labyrinth of streets going in all directions. Each street sells a specific product, so there’s Gold Street, Shoe Street, Tombstone Street and Toy Street. Practice your bargaining skills shopping for souvenirs! Enjoy a final farewell dinner in the heart of Hanoi and sample some delicious local favourites.

Today’s the last day, but we are packing in some final, must see sightseeing around Hanoi. Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi’s oldest Buddhist temple – check! West Lake – check. Museum of Ethnology – check! Be sure to check out the statues in the outdoor exhibit. Enjoy your final delicious Vietnamese feast and maybe grab a foot massage before transferring to the airport for your return flight home.

Goodbyes are so sad, but we’re sure you’ll head home with a ton of Insta worthy snaps!
